At first glance, running a shop dedicated to cleaning magical artifacts might not sound all that thrilling. But Wyrmhall: Brush and Banter takes this peculiar premise and turns it into something genuinely charming. It’s cozy, it’s quirky, and if you enjoy lighthearted sim games with a splash of humor, this one is worth a look.

Rather than cleaning vast areas, Wyrmhall has you tending to individual enchanted objects, each with its own oddities. Some are covered in grime, others are crawling with strange bugs — and then there’s the talking skull. The fantasy setting adds plenty of personality, with eccentric customers dropping by to hand over their treasured (or cursed) belongings. Their witty banter and amusing quirks bring an extra layer of fun to the experience.

The cleaning process itself is intuitive. You start with just three tools, and a handy color-coded system makes it clear which one to use. Rotating objects, inspecting every nook and cranny, and carefully scrubbing away mystical muck is oddly satisfying. But be warned — some artifacts are more dangerous than they look. A careless touch in the wrong spot could send you to an early (but temporary) demise.

Luckily, death in Wyrmhall is more of a slap on the wrist than a real setback. You simply restart the current task, which keeps the game lighthearted rather than frustrating. As the game progresses, cleaning gets trickier — smaller messes, more tools, and higher stakes mean you’ll need to be more precise than ever.

While it won’t get your adrenaline pumping, Wyrmhall is perfect for players who enjoy laid-back, satisfying gameplay with a touch of comedy. If methodically tidying up magical oddities sounds like your kind of thing, its budget-friendly price of $9.99 makes it an easy recommendation.
