Indiana Jones and the Great Circle lands on PS5 April 17
Grab your whip and fedora, PlayStation fans: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is officially coming to PS5 on April 17. Developed by MachineGames in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, this award-winning adventure is finally leaping onto Sony consoles following a successful run on Xbox and PC.
If you missed it the first time around, this isn’t just any Indy game. The Great Circle scored over 40 perfect reviews, nabbed the D.I.C.E. Adventure Game of the Year award, and appeared on more than 50 “Best of 2024” lists. Now, PS5 players can experience the cinematic thrills for themselves, and those picking up the Premium Edition or Collector’s Bundle can jump in early on April 15.

Set in 1937, between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, the game follows Indy on a globe-trotting adventure full of action, puzzles, and sinister forces. It’s a classic Indiana Jones story, brought to life with immersive first-person exploration, whip-swinging traversal, stealthy infiltration, and satisfying melee and gunplay. And yes, the whip isn’t just for show: new abilities like “Open Season” and “Sleight of Hand” expand Indy’s repertoire, letting you disarm enemies or make them more vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
The game has been visually optimized for PS5 Pro, and all platforms will receive the new whip abilities by April 15. Alongside the launch announcement, icons Troy Baker and Nolan North even teamed up to celebrate what makes a great adventure.
Three editions will be available:
- Standard Edition (digital + physical)
- Premium Edition (digital + physical)
- Collector’s Bundle (physical only)
Pre-ordering any version nets you the Last Crusade Pack, which includes the Traveling Suit Outfit and the Lion Tamer Whip. Premium Edition buyers also get access to upcoming story DLC, The Order of Giants, plus the Temple of Doom outfit and a digital art book. Already own the base game? You can grab a digital Premium Upgrade on April 17.
And for collectors, the physical-only Collector’s Bundle comes with a detailed 11-inch Great Circle globe (with puzzle mechanics!), a replica of the Allmaker Relic, an Adventure Journal, and a Jumbo SteelBook case.
