Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is out now

KOEI TECMO and developer Gust have officially launched Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, the latest entry in the long-running JRPG series. The game is out now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, PC via Steam, and for the first time ever, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

This time around, players follow Yumia, an alchemist trying to uncover the truth behind a fallen empire and her own mysterious past. With alchemy outlawed and civilization in ruins, she’ll journey across a shattered continent, crafting, exploring and battling her way through a range of biomes. New features include an on-the-go crafting system and, for the first time in the series, the ability to build and customize your own base.

To mark the occasion, Gust has teamed up with Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 for a surprise collaboration. Expect themed costumes, skills, and accessories coming as free DLC, plus a slick new trailer and exclusive artwork from artist Benitama featuring Yumia and TEKKEN’s Reina.

The game is available in standard and digital deluxe editions, along with two collector’s bundles packed with artbooks, posters, tapestries and other goodies. Early purchasers can snag some exclusive costumes and gear, while Season Pass holders can dive into the first wave of swimsuit-themed DLC.

Whether you’re a series veteran or totally new to Atelier, Yumia’s story offers a cosy, crafting-filled adventure worth checking out. Read our review for more.
