Neon Abyss 2 brings chaotic multiplayer action this July
Ready to dive into some neon-soaked mayhem? Neon Abyss 2, the fast-paced follow-up to the hit roguelike from Veewo Games, is officially launching into Steam Early Access on July 17. Announced during the first-ever Galaxies Gaming Showcase, the reveal also came with a flashy new trailer showing off the sequel’s biggest new addition: online multiplayer.
Yep, that’s right. Neon Abyss 2 is going full co-op, letting you and up to three friends team up for some seriously pixel-packed chaos. Whether you’re slashing with swords, casting spells, or sticking with trusty guns, this is shaping up to be one wild ride through a cyber-mythological battlefield.
And if you can’t wait until July? Good news: a limited-time multiplayer playtest is live right now and runs through to April 24. Just head to neonabyss.com to sign up and jump in. It’s the perfect chance to try out the new four-player co-op, test out some of the new weapons, and meet a fresh face in the cast: Elisa, a brand-new character joining the fray.
There’s even downtime fun, with mini-games like basketball and fishing thrown in for good measure. Between bouts of neon-fueled carnage, you can kick back and shoot some hoops with your squad.
