Kingdom Come: Deliverance II gets major patch, free DLC, and full mod support
Henry’s getting a glow-up. Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have dropped a hefty new update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, alongside a surprise freebie and long-awaited mod support.
Patch 1.2, the result of five months of tweaks and polish, includes over a thousand fixes and improvements. From combat balancing and NPC behaviour to quest adjustments and prettier environments, it’s a major overhaul. Localisation has seen a tidy-up too, with improved Chinese translations, clearer Korean fonts, and a completely re-recorded French voiceover.
Alongside the patch, a new free DLC has arrived, giving Henry the option to head to the barber shop. Whether you’re after a sharp trim, a full beard, or something in between, you can customise Henry’s look—and yes, a fresh new style gives him a temporary charisma boost.
The other big news? Official Steam Workshop support. Players can now dig into the guts of the game to mod over 300 different elements, from UI tweaks and gameplay mechanics to AI behaviour and quest design. It’s an open invite to modders to get creative, whether they’re fine-tuning the experience or building something brand new.
Warhorse will chat more about everything in an upcoming developer stream on March 20. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is available now on PC, PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S.
