After taking players through hospitals and universities, Two Point Studios returns with what might be their most charming and feature-packed sim yet. Two Point Museum builds on everything the studio has done so far, this time letting you manage quirky, bustling museums full of weird and wonderful exhibits. With new mechanics, plenty of variety, and that signature humour, it’s a sim worth sinking your time into.

If you’ve played Two Point Hospital or Two Point Campus, you’ll feel instantly at home. You’ll be placing bathrooms, staff rooms, training centres, and decorating to your heart’s content. Familiar brands like Burp! and Cheesy Gubbins are back, and even the voiceover feels comfortingly familiar. But the new gameplay twists are where things really come to life.

Rather than unlocking new facilities through research, the big hook here is expeditions. You’ll send out a team of experts to dig up new artefacts and exhibits, though you won’t get to go along for the ride. It’s mostly a waiting game, with the occasional choice thrown in, but the thrill of discovering a rare item or the missing piece of a larger display helps keep the process exciting.

Not everything you bring back is a winner. Sometimes it’s another copy of a fossil you already have. But with dozens of possible discoveries and multiple museum themes to play with, there’s always a reason to keep going. From marine life to the supernatural, every museum type adds new mechanics and a distinct flavour. Want to capture ghosts and keep them on display? You can. Prefer tropical fish or massive dinosaur skeletons? Also covered.

Managing the layout of your museum matters. Strategic placement of exhibits and themed decorations can raise your buzz score, attracting more visitors and encouraging them to donate. Information stands and donation bins are essential, and thinking about flow — where your guests go and what they see — is key to building a museum that’s both profitable and fun to explore.

Each exhibit also has specific needs. Some need to be kept cool, others require humidity, and interactive features can really boost their appeal. You’ll unlock more tools as you go, including guided tours and playable attractions like seance simulators or dino-themed play zones. These additions add a nice layer of interactivity to your exhibits.

Progressing through the campaign will take dozens of hours, slowly introducing each new feature so you’re never overwhelmed. Once you’ve mastered the mechanics, sandbox mode opens up and lets you build the museum of your dreams without limits. It’s perfect for creative players who just want to design something weird and wonderful.

Two Point Museum is colorful, characterful, and full of life. It’s easy to get hooked on creating the perfect layout or hunting down a rare exhibit, and there’s so much content here that you’ll be busy for a long time. Whether you’re making a family-friendly dinosaur park or a creepy supernatural collection, there’s plenty of fun to be had. This might just be the best Two Point game yet.
